Abstract

Foreign Tourists (Tourists) visiting East Java through the Juanda entrance in November 2020 increased by 4,580.77 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in October 2020, from 52 visits to 2,434 visits.
  • The number of foreign tourists visiting in November 2020 decreased by 88.29 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2019 which reached 20,780 visits.
  • During the January - November 2020 period, the most foreign tourists were Malaysian nationals who reached 10,571 visits (with a contribution of 28.37 percent), followed by Singaporean nationals with 3,957 visits (with a contribution of 10.62 percent), and Chinese nationalities with 2,296 visits (with contribution of 6.16 percent).
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in East Java in November 2020 reached 45.47 percent, an increase of 3.38 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 2 (two) star hotels by 47.22 percent is the highest ROR for other star hotels.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star-rated hotels in November 2020 reached 3.43 or decreased by 0.93 points compared to October 2020 which reached 4.36 days. The overall RLMT in November 2020 was 1.55 days or an increase of 0.06 points when compared to October 2020 which reached 1.49 days.
