Abstract

Foreign Tourists (Tourists) who came to East Java through the Juanda entrance in January 2021 decreased by 76.47 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in December 2020, from 85 visits to 20 visits.
  • The number of foreign tourists visiting in January 2021 decreased by 99.88 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2020 which reached 17,047 visits.
  • In January 2021, only 1 foreigner of Malaysian nationality who came through the entrance to Juanda (with a contribution of 5 percent) and the rest were Indonesian citizens (WNI) living abroad.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in East Java in January 2021 reached 38.63 percent or decreased by 6.84 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 2 (two) star hotels by 45.75 percent is the highest ROR for other star hotels.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star hotels in January 2021 reached 1.93 or decreased by 1.20 points compared to December 2020 which was 3.13 days. The overall RLMT in January 2021 was 1.67 days or an increase of 0.14 points when compared to December 2020 which reached 1.53 days.
