Abstract

Visits of foreign tourists (tourists) who came to Jawa Timur through the Juanda entrance in February 2021 increased by 245.00 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in January 2020, from 20 visits to 69 visits.
  • The number of foreign tourists visiting February 2021 decreased by 99.41 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2020 which reached 11,700 visits.
  • During the period January - February 2021, the largest number of foreign tourists were citizens of South Korean nationality with 12 visits, followed by Japanese nationals with 8 visits and Chinese and American nationals with 5 visits.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Jawa Timur in February 2021 reached 36.39 percent, down 2.24 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 2 (two) star hotels by 48.43 percent is the highest ROR for other star hotels.
  • The average length of stay for foreign guests (RLMT) at star hotels in February 2021 reached 2.89, an increase of 1.05 points compared to January 2021, which reached 1.93 days. The overall RLMT in February 2021 was 1.53 days or decreased 0.14 points when compared to January 2021 which reached 1.67 days.
