Abstract

Foreign Tourist Visits (Tourists) coming to East Java through the Juanda entrance in April 2021 increased by 107.69 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in March 2021, from 52 visits to 108 visits.
  • The number of foreign tourists visiting in April 2021 increased by 414.29 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2020 which reached 21 visits.
  • During the period January - April 2021, the majority of foreign tourists were citizens of South Korea who reached 28 visits, followed by Japanese nationals who reached 25 visits and Chinese nationals who reached 23 visits.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in East Java in April 2021 reached 38.88 percent or decreased by 1.32 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 2 (two) star hotels is 42.55 percent, which is the highest ROR for other star hotels.
  • Average Length of Stay of Foreign Guests (RLMT) at five-star hotels in April 2021 reached 2.15 or decreased by 0.54 points compared to March 2021 which reached 2.69 days. The overall RLMT in April 2021 is 1.55 days or the same as the RLMT in March 2021.
