Abstract

  • Foreign tourist visits (tourists) who came to East Java through the Juanda entrance in March 2021 decreased by 24.64 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in February 2021, from 69 visits to 52 visits.
  • The number of foreign tourists visiting in March 2021 decreased by 99.10 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2020 which reached 5,774 visits.
  • During the January - March 2021 period, the largest number of foreign tourists were South Korean nationals with 14 visits, followed by Japanese nationals with 11 visits and Chinese and Singaporean nationals with 6 visits.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in East Java in March 2021 reached 40.20 percent, an increase of 3.81 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 2 (two) star hotels by 43.33 percent is the highest ROR for other star hotels.
  • The average length of stay for foreign guests (RLMT) at star-rated hotels in March 2021 reached 2.69 or decreased by 0.20 points compared to February 2021, which was 2.89 days. The overall RLMT in March 2021 was 1.55 days or an increase of 0.02 points when compared to the month February 2021 which reached 1.53 days.
