Abstract

East Java Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) in August 2021 rose 1.33 percent from 98.75 to 100.06. The increase in NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) increased by 1.38 percent, higher than the price index paid by farmers (Ib) of 0.04 percent.
  • In August 2021, three agricultural sub-sectors experienced an increase in FTT and two sub-sectors experienced a decline. The sub-sector that experienced the largest increase in FTT occurred in the Food Crops sub-sector at 3.33 percent of the total
  • 97.81 to 101.06, followed by the People's Plantation sub-sector at 2.53 percent from 98.74 to 101.24 and the Fisheries sub-sector at 0.75 percent from 99.67 to 100.41. The sub-sector that experienced a decrease in FTT was the Horticulture sub-sector by 2.84 percent from 97.35 to 94.58, followed by the Livestock sub-sector by 1.59 percent from 101.44 to 99.82.
  • Five provinces in Java Island that calculated NTP in August 2021, all experienced an increase in NTP. The largest increase in NTP occurred in East Java Province by 1.33 percent, followed by Central Java by 0.89 percent, Banten by 0.81 percent, the Special Region of Yogyakarta by 0.22 percent and West Java by 0.01 percent.
