Abstract

East Java's economy in Quarter III-2021 measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached Rp 624.87 trillion, while GRDP at constant prices reached Rp 423.04 trillion.

East Java's economy in Quarter III-2021 compared to Quarter II-2021 increased by 2.26 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Construction Business Field, which grew by 9.84 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component which grew by 8.81 percent.

East Java's economy in Quarter III-2021 compared to Quarter III-2020 increased by 3.23 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Health Services and Social Activities Business Field which grew by 8.33 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Consumption Expenditure Component of LNPRT which grew by 2.27 percent.

East Java's economy up to Quarter III-2021 increased by 3.20 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Other Services Business Field, which grew by 7.66 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Component of Household Consumption Expenditure which grew by 1.57 percent.
