Abstract

The economy of East Java in Quarter II-2021 measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached Rp 604.84 trillion, while GRDP at constant prices reached Rp 413.64 trillion.

East Java's economy in Quarter II-2021 compared to Quarter II-2020 increased by 7.05 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Other Services Business Field, which grew by 41.21 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Foreign Export Component which grew by 21.16 percent.

East Java's economy in Quarter II-2021 compared to Quarter I-2021 increased by 1.78 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Business Fields which grew by 16.31 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption Expenditure Component which grew by 27.46 percent.

East Java's economy up to Quarter II-2021 increased by 3.20 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in Other Services Business Fields which grew by 10.73 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Foreign Export Component, which grew by 4.49 percent.
