Abstract

In November 2021, there were no foreign tourists visiting East Java through the Juanda entrance, so the number of foreign tourists visiting in November 2021 decreased by 100.00 percent compared to the number of foreign tourist visits in October 2021 which reached 37 visits.
  • The number of foreign tourist visits in November 2021 decreased by 100.00 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2020 which reached 69 visits.
  • During the January - November 2021 period, the most foreign tourists were Japanese nationals who reached 97 visits, followed by United States nationals who reached 87 visits and South Korean nationals who reached 64 visits.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star classification hotels in East Java in November 2021 reached an average of 52.82 percent, an increase of 3.56 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 4 (four)-star hotels is 56.52 percent, which is the highest ROR for other five-star hotels.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) at star classification hotels during November 2021 was recorded at 2.36 days or an increase of 1.08 points when compared to October 2021 which reached 1.28 days. The overall RLMT in November 2021 was 1.37 days or decreased by 0.03 points compared to the RLMT in October 2021.
