Abstract

Foreign Tourist Visits (Tourists) coming to East Java through the Juanda entrance in July 2021 decreased by 71.27 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in June 2021, from 181 visits to 52 visits.
  • The number of foreign tourists visiting in July 2021 decreased by 31.58 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2020 which reached 76 visits.
  • During the January - July 2021 period, the majority of foreign tourists were Japanese nationals who reached 95 visits, followed by South Korean nationals who reached 64 visits and Chinese nationals who reached 54 visits.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in East Java in July 2021 reached 26.25 percent or decreased by 17.91 points compared to the previous month. The ROR for 2 (two) star hotels is 33.62 percent, which is the highest ROR for other star hotels.
  • Average Length of Stay of Foreign Guests (RLMT) in five-star hotels in July 2021 reached 2.12 or decreased by 0.91 points compared to June 2021 which reached 3.03 days. The overall RLMT in July 2021 was 1.62 days, an increase of 0.13 points compared to the RLMT in June 2021.
